Personality: Quiet, Proud, Rational, AdaptableBio: The Sheik's name is unknown, only going by the title of Sheik when asked about a name. It is known that years ago, the Sheik barely escaped the slaughter of the Sheikah People by the Dark Gerudo Clan. As such, the Sheik was given his last mission:To recover the Master Sword, Seal it with the 3 Pendants, and hide it in the New World of Light so that only the Resurrected Hero may find it again.In this, the Sheik was blessed with the location of the Linking Mirrors, Mirrors that would allow him to go to another world. The info about the Worlds these lead to, however, have been lost since the Imprisoning War.He wal also 'Blessed' with the Mark of Shadows, a mark passed down through the Sheik that was given to the Sheikah by Hylia. It's abilities are rather... odd. Granting the user increased intuition within combat and conversational situations and a better understanding of stealth, the mark is transferred through person to person rather than by birth, and almost seems to have a mind of it's own. The Transference of the mark was the last act of his Teacher, Val Shanak, before she succumbed to her wounds after the slaughter of the Sheikah.
State of Hyrule
The Old Hyrule is in shambles, the Dark Gerudo in the Dark World Preparing to rebirth Ganon in order to take over the new light world, and the Old World is falling prey to Malice.A malice that has corrupted nearly everything in the Dark World, including the Deku, who have been transformed from peaceful, benevolent entities into monstrous warriors of the Dark.The Sheikah were only spared this corruption by remaining close to their faith in Hylia, but this did not save them. After the hidden Village of Outcasts was found, the inhabitants were slaughtered wholesale. It is said that some managed to escape to the New Light World, however, this is not confirmed.The Dark Gerudo now are preparing for Ganon's Return, and have even secured the perimeter of Old Hyrule's Castle. None of them may enter, however, as Light still manages to radiate from it.
